Proudly supporting grassroots rugby with Western Force

11 June 2018

Programmed is proud to be a Major Partner to Western Force, the WA World Rugby Series team and Platinum Partner of their Women’s team.

World Series Rugby is a bold new tournament created by Andrew Forrest AO that is set to revolutionise the game of rugby union. Western Force has made a return to the field and will play seven home matches at nib Stadium, going up against other local and international teams.

At a launch event held at nib Stadium in Perth, Programmed Managing Director Chris Sutherland spoke about the natural fit between Programmed and Western Force.

“At the heart of Programmed is our purpose to build outstanding people, strong customers and great communities.

“Western Force is a great example of the power and influence a club can have on shaping the character of young men and women in our communities.

“Programmed is proud to stand with Western Force to ensure the great work of the past is not lost; that young boys and girls across WA can develop into great men and women through participation in rugby; and that the pathway from junior rugby to the highest level for men and women in WA is there for all to see.”

After the formalities, Chris Sutherland and Staffing CEO Nic Fairbank joined Western Force players and management, community and local media to kick goals for grassroots rugby. Every goal kicked represented a $1000 contribution from Programmed and the Force. We are chuffed to report that we raised $34,000!
